Installation Standards
EV Brands We Install
Type 2 (Mennekes) chargers as standard, plus the dedicated Tesla Wall Connector. We install chargers for every EV brand sold in Australia.
01 / Who We Help
From single-EV homes to strata buildings and commercial fleets, we tailor every install to the property and the driver.
Wall-mounted single-phase chargers for everyday EV drivers across Sydney. Whether you have a Tesla Model 3, BYD Atto 3, Hyundai Ioniq 5, BMW iX or Polestar 2, we install the right charger in the right spot, neatly cabled and fully compliant.
Two cars, one driveway. We design three-phase setups, load-balanced dual chargers and dedicated subcircuits so the whole family can charge overnight without tripping the main switchboard.
Common-area and individual apartment EV charger installations across Sydney. We work with strata committees, building managers and EV charging providers to deliver compliant, metered solutions in basement carparks.
Staff and customer charging for offices, retail, hospitality and trade workshops. From a single 7kW unit to a row of pedestal chargers, we handle the design, switchboard upgrades and compliance certification.
Working with builders and renovators to pre-wire EV charging infrastructure during the build, saving you cost and disruption later. Conduit, sub-mains and switchboard provisioning done right the first time.
Add EV charging to your rental or short-stay property. A future-ready feature that increases tenant appeal, reduces vacancy and adds long-term value.
02 / Why Us
Licensed Sydney electricians who care about doing it properly the first time, with clean cabling, compliant switchboards and certificates that satisfy your insurer.
Fully licensed NSW electrical contractors. Every install is signed off with a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW).
Every EV charger we install meets the Australian Wiring Rules, including dedicated circuits, RCD protection and load calculations.
We install Tesla, Wallbox, Ocular, EVSE, Zappi, Schneider EVlink, ABB and more. We recommend what suits your EV, home and budget, not what we get the biggest margin on.
The installation is scoped around the vehicle, available supply, switchboard and cable route before work begins.
No hourly billing surprises. You get a clear, itemised quote covering the charger, cabling, switchboard work and certification before we start.
If anything we installed fails because of how we installed it, we come back and fix it free. Hardware carries the manufacturer warranty.
03 / Services
Wall-mounted, pedestal, three-phase upgrades, smart solar integration, switchboard work and strata, all handled in-house from quote to compliance certificate.
Single-phase 7kW or three-phase 11kW / 22kW wall-mounted chargers for garages, carports and driveways. The most popular setup for Sydney homeowners: clean, compact and weather-rated for outdoor mounting.
Freestanding pedestal chargers for properties without a wall in the right spot, including long driveways, side parking, rural-residential blocks and commercial carparks.
Upgrading from single-phase to three-phase power so you can run an 11kW or 22kW charger and future-proof your home for solar, batteries and a second EV. We handle the application with your network provider.
Many older Sydney homes have switchboards that can't safely handle an EV charger. We upgrade to a modern compliant board with dedicated EV breaker, RCD/RCBO protection and surge protection.
Zappi, Wallbox Pulsar Plus and Tesla Wall Connector with load balancing. These chargers talk to your solar system and only charge from excess generation. Lower bills, smarter charging.
Designed-for-strata installations with individual metering, load management and committee-friendly cable runs. We handle the technical proposal for strata approval.
04 / Charger Options
We install Tesla Wall Connector, Wallbox, Zappi, Ocular, EVSE, Schneider EVlink and more. We'll match the charger to your EV, your home and your budget.

08 / Frequently Asked
An EV charger draws far more continuous current than a typical household appliance, often 32A for hours at a time. Under NSW law, any hardwired electrical work above an extra-low voltage limit must be carried out by a licensed electrician and certified with a CCEW. A licensed install protects your home insurance, your manufacturer warranty and, most importantly, the safety of your family. DIY or unlicensed work can void insurance, damage your switchboard and create a serious fire risk.
Three things determine this: your supply type (single-phase or three-phase), your main switch rating (typically 63A or 80A in Sydney homes), and your existing load including air conditioning, electric hot water, induction cooktop, pool pump and solar. We perform a maximum demand calculation to AS/NZS 3000 as part of every quote. If your supply is tight, options include a load-balanced smart charger that throttles when other appliances run, or a switchboard and supply upgrade through Ausgrid or Endeavour Energy.
All of them. Every EV sold in Australia uses the Type 2 (Mennekes) AC charging standard, so any quality wall or pedestal charger we install will work with Tesla, BYD, MG, Polestar, Hyundai, Kia, Genesis, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, Volvo, Volkswagen, Cupra, Skoda, Peugeot, Citroën, Lexus, Toyota, Nissan, Ford, Mini, GWM, Chery, Leapmotor, Xpeng, Zeekr, Deepal and Smart. We help you match the charger output (7kW, 11kW or 22kW) to your specific car's onboard charger, so you don't pay for capacity you can't use.
A standard single-phase 7kW home install typically falls in the lower range, while three-phase 11kW or 22kW setups, switchboard upgrades and longer cable runs sit higher. Every quote we provide is fixed-price and itemised, with no surprise add-ons. Get in touch for an exact number.
No. Most Sydney homes have single-phase power and run a 7kW charger comfortably. Three-phase is recommended if you have two EVs, want faster charging (11kW–22kW), or are planning solar and battery upgrades.
The installation program depends on the supply, cable route, switchboard condition and whether the work involves strata or commercial property. These details are confirmed when the work is scoped.
Most modern Sydney switchboards do. Older boards (pre-2000s) often need upgrading to safely add a dedicated EV circuit with RCD/RCBO protection. We assess your board as part of the quote.
We install all major brands including Tesla Wall Connector, Wallbox Pulsar Plus, Zappi, Ocular, EVSE, Schneider EVlink, ABB Terra and more. We're brand-agnostic and recommend what suits your EV and home setup.
Yes. Smart chargers like Zappi and Wallbox Pulsar Plus can be configured to charge only from excess solar, giving you the cheapest cost-per-km in Sydney. We set up the integration during commissioning.
Yes. We work with strata committees, building managers and EV charging providers to deliver individually metered, load-managed installs in apartment carparks across Sydney.
Every install meets AS/NZS 3000:2018 (the Australian Wiring Rules) and AS/NZS 4777 where applicable. You receive a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW) on completion.
Rebate programs change regularly. We'll let you know about any current NSW or federal incentives applicable to your install at quoting stage.
Yes. All hardware comes with the full manufacturer warranty (typically 2–5 years parts and labour), plus our own workmanship warranty on the installation itself.
