Single-phase 7.4kW Wall Connector is the standard Sydney install, flat to full overnight, around 50km of range per hour, ideal for one Tesla in a typical home. Three-phase 11kW or 22kW suits high-mileage drivers, two-Tesla households or homes already running solar and a Powerwall. We commission load-sharing across multiple Wall Connectors so two Teslas charge safely on one circuit without tripping your mains, and we configure the Wall Connector to prioritise excess solar generation when paired with a Tesla Powerwall.

Three-phase 22kW installs, longer cable runs, switchboard upgrades or strata installs sit higher. Every quote is fixed-price and itemised, no surprise add-ons. Which Teslas does the Wall Connector work with?

All Teslas sold in Australia: Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X and Cybertruck (with the included Type 2 adapter). The Wall Connector uses the Type 2 plug, which is the Australian standard for AC home charging.
How fast will the Tesla Wall Connector charge my Tesla?

Single-phase 7.4kW adds around 50km of range per hour, a flat battery to full overnight. Three-phase 11kW adds around 75km/hr, and three-phase 22kW around 120km/hr (for Teslas with the optional dual onboard charger). Most owners only need single-phase 7.4kW for overnight top-ups.
Do I need three-phase power for a Tesla?

No. Most Sydney homes have single-phase, which runs the Tesla Wall Connector at 7.4kW perfectly. Three-phase is recommended if you have two Teslas, want the full 22kW output, or are planning a Powerwall and solar.
Can I install one Wall Connector for two Teslas?

Yes. The Tesla Wall Connector supports power-sharing across up to 6 units on a single circuit. We install two (or more) Wall Connectors that automatically split the available current between whichever Teslas are plugged in, no tripped breakers, no manual swapping.
Will the Wall Connector work with my Tesla Powerwall and solar?

Yes. The Wall Connector can be configured to charge from excess solar only, giving you the cheapest possible cost-per-km. If you have a Powerwall, we set up the charging schedule so your Tesla pulls from solar during the day and from the Powerwall (not the grid) overnight.
Can I just use the Tesla Mobile Connector instead?

Yes, for low-mileage drivers, renters or weekenders, the Tesla Mobile Connector plugged into a dedicated 15A or 20A outlet is a great option. It charges at around 3.6kW (~20km/hr). We install the dedicated outlet with proper circuit protection and a CCEW certificate. Never use the Mobile Connector on a standard 10A power point for daily charging, it's a fire risk.
How long does a Tesla Wall Connector installation take?

A standard single-phase install takes 3–5 hours. Three-phase installs, long cable runs or switchboard upgrades extend that to a full day. Strata jobs are scoped individually.
Do you install Tesla chargers for apartments and strata?

Yes. We work with strata committees, building managers and Tesla owners across Sydney to deliver individually metered, load-managed Wall Connector installs in apartment carparks.
Is the install covered by Tesla's warranty?

Yes. The Wall Connector itself carries Tesla's 4-year hardware warranty. A licensed install by Stewart Electrical Group protects that warranty (DIY or unlicensed installs can void it) and adds our own workmanship warranty on top.
